UMBRELLA FUND SERVICES

Both UCITS and AIFs may be established as umbrella funds. An umbrella fund is a single investment structure comprising several separate sub-funds or compartments, each with its own investment strategy, target asset classes and portfolio. The assets and liabilities of each sub-fund are segregated from those of the other sub-funds, so that liabilities attributable to one sub-fund do not generally affect the assets of the other sub-funds.
